Can I use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in completing my assignment or research project?

The University has not prohibited the use of AI tools for assignments or research projects.
If you are going to use Generative AI, UL’s preferred Gen AI platform is Microsoft Copilot. Copilot from Microsoft which is accessed through your UL Microsoft account.
Each faculty / school in UL may have varying expectations relating to the use of AI so it is advisable to check with your academic department for further clarification.
