Clear Your Browsing Data

Clearing your browsing data can solve issues related to outdated tokens that may prevent successful login to University of Limerick resources, including the library services

General Instructions for All Browsers:

  1. Open your browser and go to the settings menu.
  2. Find the section for privacy or history, where you can clear your browsing data.
  3. Choose to clear browsing historycookiescached images and files.
  4. Select the time frame of "All time" to ensure removal of data.
  5. After clearing, restart your browser and attempt to log in to idp.ul.ie again.

If You Prefer Not to Clear All Browsing Data:

To avoid losing saved preferences and logins on other sites, you can specifically clear data related to just your UL login, when you log into UL services you get brought to the follow web link (idp.ul.ie ), please follow the instructions below for the various commonly used web browsers to clear browsing data for just this web link…

During the summer semester the Library Ask Us service is available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 8pm on the following Thursdays, 14 August, 21 August, 28 August and 4 September.
