Is the Library open during holidays?

Answer

The Library stays open throughout the teaching semester, including weekends. The Library closes for a period of time around Christmas, usually 8- 10 days from about December 22nd.

Please consult our Calendar for exact closing dates.

While the library is closed you can still use the online library, available via www.ul.ie/library.

Library Services

Library staff are available to offer help and advice online, please fill out our Ask Us form with your question.

During the summer semester the Library Ask Us service is available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 8pm on the following Thursdays, 29 May, 5 June, 12 June, 19 June, 14 August, 21 August, 28 August and 4 September.
