How long can I keep a downloaded book for?

Answer

Most ebooks have a certain loan period which can range from hours to several days depending on demand for the book.

Once this loan period expires the ebook downloaded on your device (phone, tablet, laptop) will automatically disappear. You can download it again, or read it online, if you still need to use the ebook.

Library staff are available to offer help and advice online, please fill out our Ask Us form with your question.

During the summer semester the Library Ask Us service is available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 8pm on the following Thursdays, 29 May, 5 June, 12 June, 19 June, 14 August, 21 August, 28 August and 4 September.
