How to: Find Open Access Resources

Answer

The Library has published a new guide on Open Access: How to Find Open Access Resources for Scholarly Work.

This LibGuide covers the topics:

  • Find OA content within Library Search
  • Source OA Ebooks
  • Search alternative sources beyond the Library's subscription-based resources
  • Use the tools provided by the OA Community to find open content, e.g. plugins like UnpayWall for browsers
  • Find open datasets
  • Look at UL research output through the UL Research Repository

Researchers who are interested in publishing their work OA can visit the Library's guide on Research Services or contact us as libinfo@ul.ie.
