How can I join the library?

Answer

There are a number of membership options available to you depending on whether you are a past student of UL, a member of another university community or a member of the public.

If you are a past UL student you can avail of Alumni Free Access which provides access to the library building but not lending or borrowing rights. If you require those you can avail of a Paid Alumni Access.

If you have not graduated from UL, but are student or staff member of another Irish or British university, you may be eligible for SCONUL or ALCID access to the library.

If none of the above applies to you then you can apply for a Paid External Membership or avail of  the 3 day passes (per person) allowed to members of the public annually.

Full details of all of these options and instructions about how to apply can be found here.

Kind regards,

The Glucksman Library
